What patients say on Google

“They cannot keep providers. I have had three psychiatrists. Two left (Lisa Sanderson, Dr. Q). The third decided to cancel my appointment 15 minutes AFTER the telehealth appointment was scheduled (Melissa Werner). Then, I booked an appointment with a new psychiatrist and they refused to refill my meds before the appointment. They didn’t care that I would go through horrible withdrawal at all. Just said ‘well.. you can call on Monday to see if we have any cancellations.’ They just want your money and don’t actually care about you. Almost $100 for 10 minutes of their time is ridiculous. The ‘nurses’ not sure if they are actual nurses but they are really nice if you go in person. The rest of the staff needs to gain more empathy. I will never be back. You should think about going to a different place if you are considering this one.”

“What can I even say except Melissa Werner and her patient care coordinator Missy saved my life. If it wasn't for Melissa Werner advocating for me because no other health care provider would listen to me, I may have passed away and left my family behind. I am forever grateful for both of them and truly appreciate everything they do for me. Melissa deserves a raise and an award for best psychiatrist in Bowling Green Kentucky and I don't say that lightly. She listens, she cares, she takes all aspects into consideration. I would say more but she knows I am truly grateful for her. I'm honored to have her in my life. Thank you for everything.”

“PLEASE READ BEFORE USING: Arbitrary company policies impede patient care. Before I share my experience, I'd like to praise an individual who is an excellent patient advocate that stands out among her peers/company: Missy Rogers; if you have the pleasure of working with her, you're in good hands. I emailed my point of contact (Shelly Clark) to ask for a refill from my then provider (Jack Killman), because Shelly was hard to reach by phone. I received a call back from another Ally employee who let me know that my provider no longer worked at Ally. I was floored; why had I not been notified of losing my provider until I had called for a refill? The representative apologized and let me know that my new provider would be Phillip Walker, and that I would not be able to get a refill of one of my medicines till I submitted a urine test (that I have to schedule and pay for till I hit my deductible). These urine tests have been a point of difficulty since they enforced them; Ally very poorly communicated when these would be needed, and it would inhibit my ability to get the medicine for my daily executive functioning in a timely manner. I asked the Ally rep "why do I have to take these urine tests? Is this a new state law? I have not had to do this before and I've been taking this medication since middle school (I am now 28yrs old)." The rep on the phone let me know "well, Ally operates in multiple states and chooses the state with the most stringent guidelines as our baseline. Our founder believes this level of thoroughness is necessary." I replied, "So if I were to go to a different provider, I wouldn't have to deal with arbitrary company policies that actively inhibit my ability to receive care?" She actually responded "Well, yes, I suppose so, I'm sorry you weren't notified about your provider and I understand if you want to go somewhere else." I appreciated her honesty! If you don't want to jump through unnecessary hoops, consider another provider than Ally.”
