“I wanted a counselor that was experienced, I’m tired of starting over with new places. I had got put with someone not even licensed who reported to her boss. I don’t feel I got anything out of it. She kept asking me what I wanted out of treatment and it was frustrating. Then she’d give me acronyms to remember which I never did, just felt cheesy and I wasn’t feeling her. I wanted a bit more structure like a mentor. But I guess the good guy that patients like is all booked up with established favorite clients.”
