“I have been working with Allen Psychiatry for almost a year and I have nothing but great things to say. The staff at the front desk, the staff in the background such as billing, to the therapists, and the psychiatrists are beyond professional and knowledgeable. Ricci Criner is by far the best therapist I have ever had. I have been on a mental health wellness journey since 2009. She is the first therapist that has actually chosen to see me, hear me, and understand me. She doesn’t just listen to you, she connects with you on a human level and even better, she holds you accountable. My sessions with her can be intense and difficult but she always has me smiling and laughing by the time the session wraps up and it is because she is so very real. Her spirit, joy, and care as a provider for her patients sours beyond the stars. Therapist like her don’t come around often, she is extremely rare. Erica Dempsey is the best nurse practitioner/psychiatrist I have ever had. Erica provides a standard of care that I have never experienced before either. Just like Ricci, she sees me, hears me, and understands me. It isn’t just a “how ya feeling?” And then throws pills at you. She is very thorough, she wants to hear how you have been and why you think you feel that way, then proceeds to tell you what she is hearing, what’s she thinks, and communicates clearly her recommendations and why. She explains every prescription from the name, what it does to your brain, side effects, and what substance could get in the way of the positive treatment when taken as directed. 1 great company and 2 stellar providers. 👏🏼”

“I initially went for spravato treatments when I was referred by my therapist, and even though they're we're some discrepancies in regards to communicating payment obligations and unknown charges, the head psychiatrist reached out to me immediately to resolve the situation. I've never met a doctor (especially in the mental health field) that genuinely cared about my treatment experience enough to do that, and I doubt I will again anywhere else, which is why I switched my medication management to this clinic and am also looking into IOP and group therapy.
