What patients say on Google

“Dr. Parker to me is legendary. He definitely has cared for me over many years and takes an interest in me as a person. I feel valued and important to him and am eternally grateful to have crossed paths with him in this life. My mental health has improved incredibly because of his care and life is so much more enjoyable! I look forward to continuing to have him as my go-to doctor in the many years to come. Thanks for everything!”

“I am so blessed I found Dr. Parker. He made me an appointment to see him the same day I called. There has been a few times a need to see him immediately; it’s never a problem, he makes time. I really appreciate everything he has helped me with. He doesn’t just sit there and listen, he will give you solid advice (but don’t ask for it unless you want the truth😂) HIGHLY RECOMMEND 100/10”

“Dr. Parker is always extremely kind, professional, and helpful. I've seen him regularly for over 5 years. The 2 times I needed his help emergently he returned my calls within 8 hours and made himself available. Highly recommend his services.”

“Update: A few sessions posting after this, I had to discontinue services. Our last session had him telling me his services have worked for all the other people he works with who had anxiety and depression when I have other lived experiences. He was dismissive and unprofessional. He could have toned down the ego and have easily initiated a termination and referred out if he didn’t feel I was within the scope of his practice. Won’t recommend him to anyone moving forward. Have been with Dr. Parker for nearly 3 years. He has a calm demeanor that gives space for you to share your experiences. In a world of therapists who (despite incredible holding of space with some of them) have discouraged me from taking medication, Dr. Parker balances challenging and leaving space for self-advocacy and exploration through self-led trial and error. While he is respectful of my identities (takes into account pronouns and refrains from microaggressions related to the primarily visible ones), he is not someone I, as a queer southeast asian person, feel fully comfortable expressing more vulnerable states with, thus a lower rating. I appreciate how his practice has helped me practice self-advocacy and self-reflection with how unapologetically Dr. Parker models those skills when he explains his viewpoint related to his scientific and social experiences and provides boundaries regarding the scope of his practice. Furthermore, medication has greatly boosted my mental health to a wider capacity I could never imagine and I can’t thank his support with that enough. However, I acknowledge medication may be reaching its limitations. And unfortunately, I haven’t found many psychiatrists who allow that especially with the 20-min length of visits and multicultural barriers. Not fully Dr. Parker’s responsibility and more the limitations of general psychiatric care. Overall, 3.5-3.75 rating feels accurate so 4/5 is more precise while I figured given the high praise here and on his personal website and the inability to do half stars, a 3 balances it out.”
