How likely are you to recommend Alcona Health Center - Alpena?
What patients say on Google
“I saw a good dr. On my first visit. He listened and talked for about an hour. He figured out what was making me be so much pain. Set up with other Dr's that I needed. He also said that I needed to go to physical therapy and what would start that process, I couldnt have ask for anything else He could do for me. Justin work s for him and he made room for me to see the dr on short notice because of the pain. Emergency had run the tests and found nothing. Everybody there was professional, courteous and nice. The only thing he couldnt find for me was a dentist. I just moved here in July,I left all my Dr's in a different state. I would recommend this place for their primary dr.”
“I’ve been working with my peer recovery coach Jessica Cruze for three years now, and I can honestly say she has been one of the most important people in my recovery journey. From the very beginning, she has been incredibly supportive, insightful, and consistent. She always knows exactly what to say—whether I’m struggling, celebrating a milestone, or just needing someone who truly understands. Her guidance, encouragement, and genuine care have played a major role in helping me achieve and maintain my sobriety. What stands out most is how she shows up as her authentic self: positive, hopeful, and full of life. Her happiness and energy are contagious and have helped me believe in my own ability to heal and grow. She doesn’t just coach—she connects, she listens deeply, and she empowers you to keep moving forward even on the hardest days. She is a truly wonderful person and an outstanding peer recovery coach. I’m deeply grateful for everything she’s done for me and would recommend her without hesitation to anyone on a recovery path. Thank you for being such a bright light in my life!”
“Amy Kane was a joke today. Went in because afraid I was getting pneumonia. Hard to breathe and coughing up stuff. When she was listening to my lungs she never asked me to take a breath let alone deep breath and said my lungs are clear. Made me feel as though I was stupid for coming in and wasting her time.”
“There is one counselor in particular here that I wouldn't recommend anyone seeing her. Suprised at how unprofessional Renee is as a counselor. Was only my second session today and apparently people that aren't normal only come to see her according to her. And apparently instead of letting the patient talk about things she loads up a meditation video. This isnt a yoga class. Never felt tension in a counseling session before and visible eye rolls and irritation in her face”
