What patients say on Google

“I started out going to the Newton Rd. location under the care of Dr. Keisha Johnson and when she moved to the Dawson location I followed. Months later she was no longer with the company. She was by far the best I’d come by. She truly cared and it showed in the care she provided. Bring her back!!! I’m now seeing Dr. Shay (Pettit) and she’s amazing too! She has that same spirit as Ms. Johnson. I drive all the way to Lee County just to see her & I truly recommend her. My husband was seeing Dr. Emanuel but his bedside manners are very unacceptable so now my husband sees Dr. Pettit as well and he loves her! It’s hard to get in with her but it’s definitely worth it to know that you’re receiving quality care. Bring Dr. Johnson back and put her and Dr. Shay (Pettit) in the same office and you guys will have the infamous duo!! They also have an amazing pediatric doctor. I can’t think of her name but she’s an older Caucasian female. When our goddaughter came to live with us for 2yrs, she took very good care of her! She was truly passionate about her babies! Not all the doctors here are bad as well as the other staff. There are a few that can truly be weaned out because it can have a major negative impact on the entire practice but that’s why it’s important to make the necessary complaints through the proper channels and make them aware. For the ones that are coming to work daily and truly caring about the less fortunate populations they serve; THANK YOU! Keep showing up because you are making a difference!”

“They have Deanna Pettit calling herself "Doctor Pettit". She's a nurse. Yet making all my health decisions. I have never even seen the doctor who she puts on my medicine refills. Which is scary. But to make matters worse, she has lied on her patient. She put some character defamation in my file simply for asking a question. My advice: RECORD YOUR APPOINTMENTS. Get it on recording! And fun fact: the front desk staff told me that so many people call to complain about NURSE Pettit. Yet nothing is ever done. Weird and scary.”

“These are worst place in Albany. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. Especially that Glover’s dental on Gillionville road. The staff is very unprofessional and have terrible customer service. The office manager is.a joke. They lie about things they should have done for the patients. They gossip about patients business. They need training on confidentiality, Hippa, and patient privacy. They entertain their friends and put them first. Brennan is very rude. The whole office needs to be revamped. Starting from the front to the back. They help who they want too. If you make a complaint about them, we’ll just look to be treated like dirt. I don’t think they know without, patients no job. They should be rotated to other departments from time to time to learn what it is to be professional. The world doesn’t owe them anything. Treat everyone the same and stop gossiping and do your job. The CEO, needs to get a hold on things. There’s no supervision and this could lead to someone reporting them to the medical association. Talking about a patient personal affairs could prove to become a serious issue. Let them know it’s not a place for entertainment and flirting. It’s a professional office. OR it supposed to be.”

“I am unsure why the staff at EAMC are rude and unkind. I imagine it is poor management. I have been a patient there 3 times and left after dealing with the people there became impossible. This last time when I first started back the people seemed friendly and kind. They have slipped back to the reason I left 2 times before. This time I am sick and need a good doctor. I left before without saying anything. I just found another doctor. I had labs done in March and I didn't receive a call until August telling me there was a problem. Routine labs are not done. I feel left in the dark and I've had to do my own research to find out some of the issues I'm having. I was referred to phoebe for radiology exams and weren't informed they were ordered. When I asked why the doctor just cancelled the labs. The doctor insinuated my issues were my fault (mental) and it turned out to be caused by actual health problems. I will be filing a complaint. I know the are subsidized and I hope they will be proactive and change their practices. I Messaged them and received two calls from staff that just wanted to argue with me. One of my issues is high blood pressure. I need support, not more stress. If you can get into another practice dont start with these people. I dont have a lot of money so I was hoping for better care than this.”
