“My senior father goes here and sees Christine Bowie. She is wonderful. She is patient and thorough whenever we visit. Many times, she has gone above and beyond to help me advocate for my dad with his memory care facility. She always carefully reviews his medications with us and suggests improvements. It's been wonderful feeling like a health care provider really cares and goes out of her way to help. My dad likes her and is always happy to visit. The front office staff has been nothing but helpful each time we have come. In fact, Desiree took time to help set up the necessary medical app on my phone so that we can do a virtual visit, as it's getting harder for my dad to get around. Each time we come, we are always seen promptly and greeted cheerfully. I cannot say enough great things about Aiken Psychiatric.”

“I would give this office 100 out of 100 if I was capable. Dr Steiner has been my doctor for 15+ years. He has always listened to me and made adjustments where needed. He is very prompt. My appointments are always ON TIME. Not only is he an outstanding doctor of psychiatry his office is outstanding in promptness and always take care of my needs. They are very polite and professional. Getting in Touch with them is not a problem for me. I leave a msg and they call me back asap and if I leave a msg for a prescription refill it is called in within no time. I am very comfortable going into this office. Whether I am having a bad day or a good one they always make sure I am heard and meet me with smiling faces even when I may have tears rolling down. They aren’t just my doctors office I feel safe with them at all times. They know me so well I feel like family there”

“TERRIBLE. If you’re considering this practice find someone else immediately. They NEVER answer the phone. And I mean absolutely never have I called and they answered the phone. They promote telehealth appts but the app they use is NOT in any way shape or form user friendly. Again, if you’re considering this practice for the betterment of your mental health I’d consider a different one because the rage you will feel over the lack of communication will make your mental health worse.”

“Dr Steiner has been my doctor for 16 years and has always listened to me and made adjustments where needed. I trust him completely. His office staff is always very polite and helpful. To me they are more like family than just staff. They also not only are polite but they do their best to make sure your needs are attended to promptly and accurately!!! It is an understatement to say I love this office my appointment is always ON TIME. 2/23/2026 Just had another visit at this office. I whole heartedly can’t believe the reviews I am seeing on The front desk personnel. Been going there since 2009 and I have never had a rude reaction from any of them. Sometimes they do seem a little busy and can’t chit chat but they have always been a great staff. I think some people may be reacting a little bit much. But that’s ok you are intitled to feel how you feel. But compared to other doctors in this particular field the staff is doing their jobs and even when they are to busy I still get a thank you at checking in and out with a smile. Ive never had issues with the calling in On the line either. Now they do have a new set up that is out of their office but that’s not on them. Plz have a positive vibr when you go in and Ii know sometimes that is hard. I have walked in there balling my eyes out sometimes and they are empathetic and just let me go in and talked to Dr Steiner. But I do t take that as rude. I have been in the middle of a panic aniexty attack and probably have snip here and there but I get no negatively from them. I think the front desk is awesome and I would recommend to everyone”
