What patients say on Google

“These staff here are very nice especially Natalia! She was always there for me and also Erin :)) I was already used to being there since I got hospitalized 2 years ago. I had panic attacks at night and the night shift was so nice! They gave me snacks and a drink for me to calm down. Yeah the rooms here are okay, the beds are a bit rock hard and the blankets are thin but I recommend to bring your own blanket. The school teacher (Taylor) is very sweet, she made me feel comfortable and all.”

“I can't thank you enough to Miss Ursula ( a last name unknown to me)support today. I was so panicked, and you helped me act fast. Everything maybe much better and I truly appreciate you being there for us.”

“I was admitted for an overdose in November 2024. I was held there for two weeks And every day felt unbearable. I was counting down the days until I could leave, and I wasn't even aware of Where the hospital was located or how far away from home I was. A lot of of the staff, including Clarissa Seemed bothered to be there and openly talked about wanting to go home and not wanting to work there. There were a few good staff, such as Veronica(Counselor),Todd(R.N),Erica(R.N) these were the people that made my stay more comfortable and made sure I was Accounted for and made sure I Wasn't Absolutely miserable. It was constantly freezing in there and blankets were thin, Not to mention that the beds were horrible. The beds were pretty much just thin gymnasium Mats laid on top of wood and metal drilled into the floor. The food was good For a mental rehabilitation facility But things were often forgotten From orders. staff is also meant to be in the rooms at all times for visitation, and I was left in a visitation room alone with my father Where he was trying to get me to discuss things that were not meant to be discussed by ourselves or that were meant to be discussed with a doctor. phone call time was also limited to 10 minutes per night, Not per call but per night. Not to mention phone calls were monitored, and it was hard to get in contact with Friends and family. The overall experience from here was traumatizing in itself The doctors were not very thorough and neither were the therapists. They also created a very tense and unfriendly environment not because they were rude, but because they wouldn't ask about your day or try to treat you as human, but would rather treat you as a thing that they need to get out of the hospital to make more room and to create less problems.”

“My daughter was in the child unit for 8 days. I found the nurses to be very nice & caring. Dr T is a very nice Dr who takes time to explain everything. Obviously, it's not a fun experience, but they do keep your child safe & care for them. Thank you to all the nurses in that unit. You all are amazing & I appreciate all your help.”
