“Scheduled my baby’s check up as a new patient almost 2 months in advance , got a call 3 days before appt that they have to change appt due to “ Not scheduling properly” then I call back to see what dates are available and the representative states “ they did schedule appt correctly it just looks like you’re out of network “ okay so which one is it ? Whatever the reason is it should be informed @ time of scheduling . Not only a couple days before appt .”

“My grandma survived 3 cancers while hospitalized here. My mom had an excellent gal bladder surgery that the doctor took extra hours on to make sure it was as painless as possible. I was treated here with gastritis and for emergency trips. The doctors are understanding, kind, very generous and intelligent. Not to mention the cafeteria is excellent. I wouldn't mind going just for food! If you need an ER trip, have someone drive you to lutheran general. You wont get better care anywhere else.”

“Funny I left a review and it's missing. Well let's try this again. FYI this hospital does not have a board certified doctor on staff after late hours in the ICU unit only a bunch of resident in training. So that being said leaving your loved one in the care of resident is not in your best interest.”

“Vivian Liu, NP at Advocate Medical Group in Park Ridge (1675 Dempster) left me disheartened after my daughter's check-up. Initially, things seemed fine, but the tone drastically changed during the examination. Despite my daughter being clearly dressed in all pink with flowers on her stroller, the doctor condescendingly referred to her as "buddy" and consistently misgendered her. This unexpected behavior, coupled with the doctor removing my daughter's diaper as part of the exam, raises serious concerns about professionalism and respect for clear gender indicators. I believe it's crucial for medical practitioners to maintain a considerate demeanor, especially with young patients. This experience has led me to reschedule my daughter's vaccines and seek care elsewhere, casting doubts on the overall standard of care at Advocate Medical Group. I hope this feedback prompts constructive improvements for future patients' experiences.”
