When people seek mental health treatment, they are often in vulnerable situations and deserve compassion, professionalism, and a provider who genuinely listens. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I felt consistently dismissed rather than heard, and concerns that should have been taken seriously were handled with a level of indifference that left me questioning the quality of care being provided. The communication style felt cold, rushed, and lacking the empathy that is absolutely essential in mental health treatment. Mental health professionals have a responsibility to create a safe and supportive environment, and I left feeling more frustrated and unsupported than when I arrived.
