How likely are you to recommend Advanced Counseling Solutions?
What patients say on Google
“100% recommend. I have been a client here for 2 years and going here has changed my life for the better. My therapist, James, has been tremendous in helping me through anxiety, intrusive thoughts, etc. He provides and safe place to talk and work through any situation. All of the staff members I’ve ever spoken with here have been extremely kind and helpful. They’ve always been flexible with my schedule and understanding when I need to cancel for any reason. An important thing to note, I do not have a babysitter, so my 5 year old has been coming with me to almost every session. Everyone has always been so patient, kind, and supportive toward that situation. Especially my therapist, James. Therapy can be intimidating at first, but this place has ALWAYS provided a comfortable, laid-back, positive, and safe environment. In the 2 years of coming here, I can’t find anything negative to say about this place or the people here.”
“I had been coming there for counseling for over a yr. Having never had a good exp with it, but based on the urging of loved ones, I agreed to go & try again. I fully bought in, gave it my best, regurgitated all my trauma (letting me exp some of it all over again). Driving home from what would b my final appt, the receptionist called to let me know that since my disability had finally gone thru, they no longer accepted my insurance & was cancelling my future appts. Ive never heard another word from the counselor whom I told so many personally traumatic things about myself - this was over a yr ago. Giving my counselor the benefit of the doubt, he probably isnt allowed to. As long as a bureaucratic parasite makes the decisions for mental health, or all healthcare, it removes basic humanity from the process. Especially in a time when so much of the world seems to have lost its humanity. Just another sad day I guess, in a sad world, for ppl who felt sad anyway. But nobody cares, coz everyone else is miserable too...EDIT: in reply to ACS reply - as I said this was over a yr ago & I would never give a persons name if they could be subjected to some kind of disciplinary consequences for doing their job. Sorry. This review wasnt about a receptionist, it was more pointing out a miserable & failing healthcare system & a therapist who never reached out to me (who for hipaa or some other asinine policy, likely wasnt "allowed" to. If JW still works there, have him read this, he should know who i am)”
“A couple weeks ago I came in wanting to sign up for counseling, and all I could hear was a man who seemed to be VERY upset with a lady behind the desk. I couldn’t see them, I didn’t get that far before I turned around and left because of the way he was talking to her. Extremely rude and belittling. I felt sorry for her, no one deserves to be talked to like that. If your employee is getting in trouble, maybe talk to them privately? I will not be back, I’m not going to take a chance that I get talked to that way!”
“Absolutely love this office. Completely professional and wonderful with kids! Always feel comfortable and at ease. Friendly counselors who truely care.”
