“M. Vladu has been working with me for approximately 18 months...Once a month we talk on the phone for 5-10 minutes, then she submits my medications...I have been taking SSRI's for almost 30 years now (i've tried them all)... over the years I keep journals detailing the meds I take, the strength, and the effectiveness of the meds along with the side effects...I have always taken my mental health very seriously...about a week ago she made her monthly call like usual...the call did not go well... it was difficult to understand her because it sounded like i was on speaker phone, and she seemed far away, it was cutting in and out a little, in addition, she has a strong accent... we were discussing side effects, she seemed to be panicking for some reason, she eventually started raising her voice (as did I) then made a couple of comments that were ridiculous...after that she threatened me by saying i'm not sending in your meds...this upset me quite a bit...I hung up the phone, I was in awe. I couldn't believe what she had just said, and was shocked she said she was not sending in any meds. I calmed myself down and called back 10 minutes later...no answer. I just assumed she had sent in the meds anyway, and that we'd talk again in a month... I never got a text from my pharmacy saying they were filling my meds, it turns out she didn't send them in. When your brain has been on these drugs for decades, if you were to stop taking them cold turkey, it would create a very serious medical issue for me. I know this because I have common sense, I also have studied these drugs, and most importantly, several years I experienced it. The only way I can describe what it felt like is by say it seemed like after several days I was OK, but then it felt like a very bad acid trip that lasted for about 10 days. Because she was so unprofessional, raised her voice and then refused to send in my meds I assumed perhaps she wasn't properly trained/licensed. Surely no professional would do that to a patient. The next day I called back very upset, I demanded someone put my meds through, so I don't run out, and collected Miss Vladu's information so I could research her...they put in a weeks worth of emergency hmeds. They also told me that Miss Vladu is requiring me to come in and see her in person. She had been bringing it up for several months, I didn't particularly want to for various reasons and said to her several times "I am more than happy to do telehealth and/or ANY type of video call if that's what you want" she would never agree to it. She never ianswered my question as to why she wants to see me in person so much...she NEVER gave me an appropriate response, only a couple of times she giggled and said it would be fun to see me face to face. Sry to keep rambling on... long story short, the office said she's insisting to see me in person...I agreed and we set up an appointment for a few days later. I knew that the week of emergency meds they had given me would run out soon. I felt I had no choice and was ok with it. Yesterday i showed up for my appointment 10 minutes early. When i arrived, a lady there told me Miss Vladu called off today due to a family emergency. I am 99.9999% sure that was a lie, for many reasons that I won't get into... I only have a couple days left of meds. I do not know what I am going to do. I feel the need to speak up and let others know how I am being treated. The thought of a mental health professional treating a patient like this is inexcusable.”

“They RARELY pick up the phone. Just an answering machine or service. Doesn’t call you back often . Dr doesn’t call in scripts so you suffer days of withdrawal. Or change the scripts of the pharmacy is out of the medication. Which is malpractice. FORCED MONTHLY URINE TESTS! Made a couple of appointments Where dr totally blew off the appointment did not show up! Why they have not been sued yet I don’t know … hmmm definitely should be sued.”

“Finding the right mental health professional can be challenging, and I'm grateful to have found Dr. Aqeel Khan. He created a safe, non-judgmental environment where I felt comfortable sharing my concerns. His guidance has been very valuable, and I highly recommend him.”
Tom Lewis
“Don't go here if you value your mental health. They firmly believe that ADHD is only a childhood diagnosis and will force you to do a drug screen every time you get a medication refill at $40 each. They will claim this is necessary per your insurance or state/federal regulations. Random drug screens are necessary for some medications, but it's not random if it is every single time you need a refill. Don't waste your time, or your sanity, go elsewhere.”
