How likely are you to recommend Adams Behavioral Health Outpatient?
What patients say on Google
“Had my first visit here for behavioral health. Filled out all the paperwork, expressed my military background and issues I suffer from that mentally, expressed my family history all on paperwork, but when it came down to the actual therapy session, my therapist only talked about himself and how his dad was a cop and somethin about his brother being in the service and ranted about himself for about 30-40minutes. I barely said anything about myself besides the regular questions and he immediately diagnosed me with anxiety and depression and asked if I’m willing to start medication in the future. Schedule a months worth of future visits once a week. I got my bill in the mail and it said “mental evaluation” and charged me 230 dollars for basically nothing. I was very vulnerable and honest on the paperwork and was excited to start my first ever therapy session and this experience made me feel like the therapist. 0/10. Don’t recommend whatsoever. Nobody felt qualified to treat or help. Not easy to talk to. I called back a few days later and cancelled all my appointments and went somewhere else. Avoid this place for serious mental health issues and seek help other places”
“These people are rude and controlling ignores facts about my mental health care for emotional support animals. Was rude uncaring. I explained to her I have had esa for over a 2 decades and was rude and said I was lying lady I have the proof! Find else where’s to go this place is junk with people of very rude and uncaring I felt manipulated. Do not go here.”
“I went here because I needed to get back on my ADHD medication, instead of prescribing me my previously prescribed medication. Mackenzie Henshaw saw it appropriate to make me get tested again to prove I even had ADHD (I've been tested multiple times, and proved over 20 years to genuinely have ADHD.) Mackensie attempted to gaslight me, prescribe only antidepressants that aren't clinically proven to treat ADHD properly, and even after the test proved I still have ADHD and didn't grow out of it as she claimed. she refused to prescribe my medication, told me I was a junkie seeking pills and claimed there was no proof of my previous ADHD treatment. when my previous provider from a different state sent over medication and diagnostic history AGAIN, mackenzie sent me a letter dismissing me as a patient. I went to an actual regular PCP doctor and they immediately prescribed my proper medication.”
“significantly unimpressed is an understatement. save yourself the nightmare experience and go anywhere else for actual professional help. no one here is actually qualified to prescribe medications if you need them and the staff who will prescribe medications prefer to treat you like a laboratory specimen instead of actually paying attention to and respecting medical history. the counselors are grossly under qualified as well, which is fine as long as you don't hope for actual help. if you experience a little bit of anxiety, they could probably handle that. but if you have actual disorders, they're not qualified to treat said disorders. they have to outsource for anything of value, so save yourself time. cut out the middle man. just go somewhere else not in Adams....”
