“I only ended up at this office because my sister went here and raved about how easy it was for her to get certain controlled prescriptions. That was her priority. Mine was finding a doctor who actually listens, cares, and acts professionally… which this office absolutely does not provide. Dr. Brandmeil himself was tolerable but far from helpful. Our telehealth appointments lasted maybe 8 minutes, and any time I tried to advocate for myself or adjust my medications, I was immediately shut down with a flat “we’re not going to do that,” no explanation, no discussion. Just dismissive. But the real problem & the reason I’d give negative stars if I could is the receptionist, Anne. I’ve never dealt with someone so consistently rude, passive-aggressive, and unprofessional. Every monthly call (thanks to ongoing ADHD medication shortages) was a nightmare. I’d call with all my info ready, speaking calmly and politely, and she’d still find a way to talk down to me or make the process harder. My final straw: I called, like I always do, to give the pharmacy that had my medication in stock. Anne answers practically cheerfully saying, “Oh, he’s on vacation for five days!” Then follows it up with a sarcastic, “Do you still want to give me the address?” as if she didn’t just tell me I’d be without my medication for a week. Completely unnecessary. Completely unprofessional. If you’re hoping for real care, respect, and basic human decency - especially if you’re uninsured or vulnerable - do NOT go to Adam Brandmeil. And Adam, if you ever read this: please address the person running your front desk. Patients shouldn’t have to hear her loudly calling pharmacies, reading off people’s private information, or treating every caller like an inconvenience.”
