How likely are you to recommend Abbott House LLC?
What patients say on Google
“Director, Kevin and his staff ensure the patients are safe and treated with respect. My nephew has been a resident at Abbott house for over 15 years. He feels safe and secure. The place is clean and maintained well. If our family has any questions or concerns, they respond back quickly. We feel my nephew is well taken care of with counselors, make doctor appointments when needed and ensure he takes his medication accordingly. We highly recommend Abbott House if you are looking for a loved one to stay. It is located in Highland Park and the town treats everyone fairly, as residents can walk around town after signing out with staff!”
“Hi, former resident here. This place is hell incarnate. Cockroaches, terrible food, assaults, lack of support, and being treated like a child is what I encountered over the duration of the years I spent here. The good reviews are from those who don't live there, the facility puts on a facade for the families. Almost all the young women who get sent to Abbott leave due to staff doing nothing about old men creeping on them. Also, in my case, when they discharged me they gave me the wrong amount of medications and refused to fix the situation they caused. They don't have a focus on transitioning you out, they fully intend on letting you rot away and die in the facility. Don't send your family here. Edit: they blamed me for gaining weight at the facility, but when I left and started cooking for myself the pounds started melting off. I also am no longer sleeping all day and have a ton more energy since leaving”
“Great Experience! The people are friendly and easy to interact with. I appreciate them.”
“Abbott house is A really nice facility. The building is old and appears dreary. The staff and atmosphere, however our lovely. There is a positive encouraging atmosphere present.”
