What patients say on Google

“The actual care/treatment received here was fine, but their director and administration side operate on a level that is closer to fraud and extortion. I genuinely liked the counselors that I saw here, but their director and front desk conducted themselves with such disdain for professionalism that my overall experience has turned into a negative one. Poor customer service skills and non existent communication are one thing to deal with in any other field, but when people's livelihoods are at stake, missed followups and false claims about those followups turn into a bit bigger of a deal then normal. The entire misunderstanding would have been easily navigated with proper communication skills. Instead of making a simple followup phone call to clarify payment status, they tried to state i refused to pay. This is not the case. I asked how it was that im suddenly expected to pay when I was originally told that I couldn't be put back on the schedule until we got payment for my sessions figured out. I explained that I am broke and make literally 0 dollars. They had me fill out a bunch of grant paperwork and share recent bank information with them. They told me until that was done I couldnt get back on the schedule. I did the grant paperwork. They put me back on the schedule. Never once did they clarify and say oh btw, grant declined, youre gonna have to pay. Now they try to maintain that none of this was true and they just put me back on the schedule anyway. Now, they hold my completion certificate over my head and say I cant have it until I pay for all me sessions. Again, last I understood, we got that figured out with the grant applications, hence why I was back on the schedule to begin with. Suddenly, thats not how it works. So now they have a whole bunch of my sensitive personal information, AND they held my completion certificate over my head unless I payed them out. Not once did I refuse to pay, I simply asked for an explanation as to how this did not qualify as extortion or fraud. Once again, the actual treatment was fine, but the director should highly consider selling his practice, and the front desk Admin needs to be fired, and a complete overhaul of the administration side needs to be conducted. The ridiculous lies that I just had to deal with because of this director and admin have me offended enough that I would recommend you go to Nicasa before coming here, and I wouldnt wish Nicasa's poor services on my greatest enemy. Thanks to my therapists, you guys rock, I hope you find a better spot for employment soon!”

“Katya was my therapist for at least 8 months. I had a terrifying car accident last year and for a while my anxiety was through the roof. I was recommended here by my physical therapist and I was very happy to try, as I never had therapy before. I felt shame for having anxiety but Katya was never judgmental and helped guide me as I was recovering from the accident. The receptionist was also kind and easy to schedule with.”

“I did my IOP classes that were court mandated through A Bridge Back. I was expecting to just get through it because I had to do it. The counselors and the staff were very helpful and compassionate throughout the whole process. They helped me with their guidance and resources to begin my sobriety. I was expecting it to be just a meeting and reading through a book but got much more out of it. I'm grateful for this organization and highly recommend it especially if you are looking for a change in life or perspective.”

“There are no words to express how genuine the people at A Bridge Back are. They sincerely believe in helping people and most of them are in recovery themselves and share their experiences in order to help others. They are some of the nicest people I have ever met and handle all paperwork/meetings/etc. in a very timely manner. They will bend over backwards to make sure things happen in time, whether that be for court or for personal needs. I am so grateful I picked them. I got way too lucky. Huge shoutout to Mikhail for being a caring, awesome person with a hilarious personality. I loved working with you. More shoutouts to Brendan, Harold, Kayla, Alissa, and every other name I am forgetting.”
