For a therapist who keeps talking about how my trauma is coloring my perceptions, grossly adding to that trauma was an unwelcome surprise. She also prefaced this by saying she understands kink because she has been to PRIDE parades. No Arianna. PRIDE is not a kink. My sexuality and gender expressions are not kinks. There might be kinky people at at PRIDE event but they are also everywhere else. Don't conflate PRIDE with having a kinky experience. You dehumanize every LGBT person with your words.”
