What patients say on Google

“I would not recommend this practice to anyone. The clinicians here are terrible and have made me feel incredibly unsafe in their care over the years. I have been going to this practice since I was young, and it has done me irreparable harm. I truly wish I had never started with them, and would caution anyone against it.”

“Dr. Sharon Leuenberger is a rock star. She has done neuropsych testing for our family over the years. She is *always* informed on *very* recently published studies on child development, nutrition, education/learning, and parenting approaches and techniques. Further, she values the 'tried and true' ways of working and established studies; she carefully selects and creates a meaningful cornucopia of recommendations when it comes to your child. Her insight has proved to be dead-on - each time. Our children are markedly better in academics and developing their inter-personal skills because of Dr. Sharon's insight. In her reports, Dr. Sharon has also included meaningful direction for parents in parallel to the/your child's next step. She asks direct and insightful questions that drive to understanding your child and their experiences. She recognizes the dynamics/complexities/challenges within your personal, parental, and child's environment. With a supportive approach, and supported by her data, she makes recommendations that will land in you and your child's environment and circumstance. Have you ever had pages and pages of insight and recommendations on your child?...and every line item is dead-on, every action you take from the list gives you a 'wow'? That's been my experience with Dr. Sharon. She is a rock star and you want her on your team.”

“Dr. Vas was initially great but then prescribed a new medication and seemingly dropped off the face of the earth while I was struggling with side effects. My pharmacy had to contact him 3 times over the course of a week before he would refill my prescription, and then he sent in the wrong dose. It took another few days for him to re-send it and he sent the same wrong dose again. He then cancelled my upcoming appointment that I was desperate for to sort things out. As a result, I was forced into fast withdrawal from a dangerous drug with no medical supervision and no explanation whatsoever. I really thought he cared, but I have never been abandoned by a doctor like this before.”

“The doctors here do not care about helping you feel better, they only care about making you appear normal to others. They treat the "symptoms" but will never inquire about or acknowledge the root cause of your issues, only telling you that you have a "chemical imbalance" that there is conveniently no way to actually test for. Forced into DBT here for 2 years and never once was a "therapist" able to explain to me why my self-cutting was actually bad, they only said that it makes other people uncomfortable. Once I snapped back at someone who had repeatedly discriminated against me and treated me terribly, and my parents told the therapist that she needed to convince me that what that person was doing wasn't actually that bad and I needed to beg for forgiveness. The next few weeks of individual therapy sessions were all devoted to gaslighting me, teaching me that I was insane and sick in the head for feeling how I did, and trying to trick me into apologizing. That was what confirmed my theory that the therapists here don't actually care about you, they care about doing whatever it takes to make your parents happy so they can continue to take their money. For a place that constantly urges you to feel your feelings they will try to get you put on more meds or get you institutionalized if you feel your feelings too much. They also tried multiple times to change my political beliefs and discouraged me from going to college. Their programs are designed to take as long as possible as to siphon as much money as they can from you or your insurance company. I have spent years trying to recover from the trauma these disgusting self-proclaimed "professionals" caused. If you love or care about your children, do not send them here.”
